I have a 2nd interview with Sears at their corporate headquarters in Chicago. They are flying me out there and putting me up in a hotel and I am a bit nervous and would love any advice about the interview process. I am interviewing for the Management Training program. I am graduating in June with my Bachelors in Business Administration. I really need any helpful advice to make the trip and interviews go smoother. There are 2 scheduled interviews and then some sort of group activity. I appreciate it!

You must have done something right for them to fly you to their HQ…so good job!!

Most MTP interviews consist of behavioral / situational based questions from my experiences. The interviewer will ask you to describe a time that you've dealt with a bad customer and how you handled it, etc. These all should be real experiences that you've had.

Here are some more examples:

Good Luck!!

You and your team are preparing to give an oral presentation to your coworkers at the upcoming weekly training meeting. Your training coordinator has requested that you speak about risk factors for becoming a victim of crime. He would also like you to cover whether people can reduce their risk of becoming a victim. Create a series of informative PowerPoint slides to aid your team's presentation.

Set up your presentation in a problem, solution, benifits. organizational structure. A couple of slides with stats on the problem and background, a couple of slides suggesting some solutions and a couple of slides giving the benifits of using those solutions. Remember, giving a solutions is not enough. You must point out why the solutions you suggest are better than others. Hope this helps!

1)demonstrate interpersonal and non-verval communication skills when demonstrating business communication .

2) explain the interpersonal and non-verbal communcation skills used to support effective communication

plzzzzzz if u no let me no soon

1) Smile and listen
2)Dealing with people in a influencial and professional way or getting people to get things done is good interpersonal communication.
For non-verbal communication, you create a vision of an exciting career of people and address what is in it for them.
Also to motivate and give rewards to deserving people.

I am currently a Master's Student in the Field of Communication Studies. I am interested in getting my Ph.D. but was wondering if I should stick to Communication or branch out into business or education. I would like to eventally do Management consulting, leadership, or diversity training. What I would like to know is what are companies looking for? What would you have done if you could go back and choose any field of study? Would study abroad be a better choice for today's globalized world, or should I concentrate on somehting else for today's market? I am just looking for advice. Thanks in advance for you thoughts! :)

If you do not want to do academic research, you should not get a PhD. If you decide you want one anyway — don't ever, EVER let anyone in admissions know that you want to work in industry until after you have been accepted.

If you want to be a consultant, get an MBA from a top school. Not only will you get good training for the job, but you will probably actually get hired.

Please note that the placement of many things had to be changed because of the way Yahoo made it when i put it in the text box. The resume is actually very neat and well organized.

I used this resume writing service in my area, this is there website: http://www.resumeworld1.com you should try them, it only cost me $35.00 and I got a great job from this new resume, I never thought about the format that they use but the turn around time was less then 24 hrs. I would have to say it was the best service I have ever used and it was worth every dime. Also they let me pay through Pay Pal.
