Public Speaking Training

Posted by: admin | Comments (0)

According to research, public speaking is one of the most frightening things a human being can do.

It is feared even more than death. For the average person the only thing worse than speaking in public is dying while speaking in public.

Therefore if you ever need to make a speech or a presentation public speaking training seems like the logical thing to do.

Andrew Rondeau has created a course on getting over the fear of public speaking, delivering a dazzling presentation while creating trust and understanding with your audience.

Andrew teamed up with the public speaking world champion Darren LaCroix to create the course and thev’ve done a fine job of demystifying all things relating to public speaking. Darren tells how you need to come up with the unexpected in your presentation and then goes into exactly how you can keep the audience on the edge of their seats rivetted to your every word…

As a trainer, I can well remember the fear that came over me before I would stand up in front of a group.

Without the benefit of public speaking training I doubt if I would be in this business now. This course shows you exactly what you need to do to gain your own confidence.

Andrew and Darrens course covers everything that you will need to know to be able to stand at the front of a room and deliver excellent speeches.

I went for a job interview week ago, I started my training/orientation on Monday. There are a lot of new trainees there and everyone seems very happy. The president of the company was there, the managers were speaking and educating us about the company. Everyone is very professional and have a lot of knowledge about the company and excellent speaking skills. They went over how much your salary is going to be and it's a lot of money.

The thing is, it seems a bit too overwhelming to me. The company is basically all about your health and well being. State of the art water filtration systems, air filtration systems, etc. I'm so confused about a lot of things. They want us to present their products in front of our family and members first with our manager present so we can practice for the day we have to do it in front of real clients. They said that whoever we do the practice presentation in front of, like our family and friends, they get a 3 day and 2 night hotel accommodation. What does that mean?

I'm very broke and I do have a part time job but I saw this new job here as an opportunity to excel in life and become successful. But I don't know if I'm being very nervous that's why I'm getting cold feet or it's just that I have a bad feeling about it? Has anyone been in this situation before? What do I do? I'm extremely confused and am suffering from an extreme case of brain fog to make matters worse! Another thing I am very worried about is that where am I going to get clients from? They were presenting the managers and new employees there with awards because they got the most clients for that week so I know it's possible and there is a lot of room for you to get promoted. I don't really know anyone, just my immediate family and a few cousins. Ok let's say that I did get a few referrals from them, that would only be for that week. What am I going to do after that??! The people already working there have a big load of clients and referrals. They have their own techniques to how they got them. I'm feeling so lost, please help. Btw the company is called Carico. The products I don't have to purchase, the company gives them to us for presentation purposes only.

My understanding is that this is not a job, but a sales 'opportunity'. They require that you purchase a start up kit as a distributor and sell their products. It is similar to Avon, and other distribution companies that require their 'distributors' to puchase their product. They do not give a paycheck, but a commission. The problem is that you are describing what is known as Multi Level Marketing, some like to call it a pyramid. You need to not only sell product, but recruit additional distributors. These distributors do the same and you are supposed to reap the benefits of their work. The problem is that if it were that easy, everyone would be doing it. Let me share some companies that operate this way: NuSkin, Amway, Herbalife.

There is an inherent problem with the design of these companies. Only the people at the top rows make the real money. As you go down the levels, you have less opportunity to make money, as the product becomes more familiar and saturates the market.

Now as far as using your circle of influence (sound familiar?), most people will say no. Sorry, they are not going to share your excitement for the product and some are going to be familiar with this type of marketing and will back off. You may get one or two family members, a few friends and your organization may appear to grow from there. What will happen is that when everyone sees how most people say no and are negative, they will give up. At that point your part of the organization will collapse. Someone may continue to sell it on the side as they may like the product. But that will be the extent of it.

Go with your instincts, this is not a 'job'. They call it a business opportunity, we call the best way to alienate your friends and family!

TNA Wrestling Career…?

Posted by: admin | Comments (1)

I wrote this letter into TNA what do you think of it…pretty good…?

Hello. My name is Jake Ivicevic and I am writing to ask about career opportunities in TNA.

I would like to know about any perquisites that must be obtained for on-air talent. I know for other organizations, such as WWE, or ECW they require a college degree in broadcast journalism, and I was wondering if it was the same for you.

I'm only 14, but I definitely am looking into entertainment wrestling as a career. I also find TNA especially suited for my needs, considering you have a main portion of your shows in the "Impact Zone"

I'm living in California, but would not mind the move the Orlando at all. I have one year of experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and understand the concepts of entertainment wrestling. I also have stellar communication, speech, and presentation skills which I know are necessary for success.

I'm in the 8th grade and have a 3.8-4.0 GPA, am part of CSF, and understand the need for working as a team. While I would love to start wrestling now, I understand I may have to wait until I'm older, or can meet requirements, but I am willing to work hard for this amazing opportunity.

I don't have a ring, or a facility to train in, but I practice daily, and could put together a montage of my work is necessary.

Any info or help is appreciated.

Thank you,

Jake Ivicevic

good luck with your tna wrestling career lol

Nintendo\’s brain-building franchise returns for a second round of mental gymnastics in Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day. Like it\’s predecessor, Brain Age 2 is inspired by the work of Japanese neuroscientist Dr. Ryuta Kawashima and it features a series of quick math and reading activities designed to \”increase blood flow to the prefrontal cortex.\” Players take part in a series of tests that determine one\’s \”brain age,\” often taking advantage of the DS\’s unique abilities by writing with the stylus or speaking into the microphone. The ultimate goal, after weeks of training, is to lower one\’s brain age to 20. Players can try to beef up their brainpower alone, or they can challenge up to 15 friends in a mathematical mini-game designed to test wits. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide Educational Games Puzzle Games Nintendo DS Universal
