We have been reviewing a copy of Andrew Rondeau’s Public speaking training course, “Get Applause Now.”

Andrew approached us and asked if we would review the training for him and of course, we said yes. We’re not Public Speaking champions but we are NLP trainers who know a great course when we see one.

Get Applause now was created with Darren laCroix the public speaking world champion and together they share their secrets to creating and delivering a winning speech.

The training covers everything from how to get really good really fast by using toastmasters as a practice audience and what it actually takes to become the best.

I particularly liked the section that deals with how to use humor in your presentation or speech and the way that Darren de-constructs what it is that actually makes some things funny for your audience. And equally important things you can say that will guarantee you’ll turn them off and you will bomb. Humor as you may already know is so important to break down barriers between you and your audience and is one of the easiest ways to create rapport with them.

Andrew has built in a very generous bonus as well. A 10 week, video public speaking coaching course. This was the one part of the course that we didn’t get a chance to look at yet, but if it’s up to the same high standards as the rest of the course I will guarantee that it’s fantastic.

Overall we were impressed by the public speaking training “Get Applause Now” and even as an experienced trainer and coach I still learned things I didn’t know. My next trainees are in for a treat…
